Noodle Tools Citations

Here are some tips that will help you cite references using Noodle Tools.:

  1. Log in to http://sccl.org and click on Research for Teens.
  2. Choose Science and Technology databases.
  3. Try Science Online for newspaper articles and basic info.
  4. Try Academic Search Complete for journal articles.
  5. Utilize keywords and “advanced search” tools (quotation marks, etc.)  to help you find articles on your topic.
  6. Once you find an article, determine the type of resource the article is and create a citation in Noodle Tools.
  7. Make sure you choose the “Database” tab if you found the article using Science Online or Academic Search Complete, or another database.
  8. Put in as much information as you can, but definitely fill out the fields that are required (red asterisk) before you submit citation to save it.
