Students and parents should be concerned about teenagers getting enough sleep each night. About 70% of teenagers are not getting enough sleep each night, according to the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) recommended allowance of 8 hours per night. The National Sleep Foundation recommends 9 1/4 hours sleep per night for teenagers.
Researchers have found that students who eat breakfast are more productive throughout the day than students who skip breakfast. You can even improve your memory by eating a nutritious breakfast, according to researchers as reported by the scientific journal, Nutrition, and the Journal of the American Dietetic Association.
